I'm based in Aberdeen, Scotland where we are blessed with some of the most beautiful locations on our doorstep and I'm ready to capture some precious times with you and your family!
My Sessions
I understand that being in front of the camera can be nerve-wracking, one of the reasons I'm behind the lens, but during each session, I aim to capture you and your family relaxed, laid-back and having fun. I believe in capturing authentic moments — this means not everyone will be looking at the camera or smiling all of the time or even standing still! I enjoy seeing the real you and the interactions between you and your loved ones.
My shooting style is documentary, but I do provide gentle guidance to help capture natural poses and genuine relationships. I also try make sure to include some traditional images in the mix.
As a Dad, I know how fast kids grow up, and I want to help you preserve memories of your kids and family right now so you can cherish them in the future. I also understand that working with kids can be unpredictable — my sessions are quick, lasting less than an hour, and if needed, we can take breaks to accommodate your children's needs. So, please don't stress or worry about kids misbehaving.
Location
The North East of Scotland has some spectacular scenery, and this is where we will have our photo session, in a mutually agreed location. I have a few ideas where I like to shoot, but love to hear from you, particularly if you have a special place you'd like to use.
WHATS INCLUDED...
• Before your session, I will send out a 'getting to know you' questionnaire. This helps me tailor your session to your needs.
• A 1 hour laid back photo session.
• 5 images with full print release, available to download from a private online gallery, you are welcome to share these images with family and friends. Once your gallery is ready I will send you the link and password to your gallery. It usually takes two weeks, but sometimes this takes a wee bit longer.
• Due to the uniqueness of your session, I can not guarantee any specific images but will make sure you have beautifully honest portraits of your family here and now, which I am sure you will treasure.
